We're so excited to finally share our inspiration for this whole months theme - the Portuguese destination wedding of Jessie and Elliot, shot by the wonderful Piteira Photography.
Set in the late afternoon sun in the beautiful vineyards of Quinta de Sant’Ana, 30minutes north of Lisbon, Jessie and Elliot's big day is a testament to just how amazing a wedding in Portugal can be.
Travelling from the US it was a big job to plan a wedding on the other side of the globe, but thanks to Jessie and Elliot's attention to detail, the day came together perfectly.
A colour palette of blues and purples worked beautifully with the surroundings of the vineyard, reception and nearby village were preparations took place earlier in the day.
The reception was simply decorated with a mix of purple and white flowers, such as hydrangeas, in an assortment of glass vases. All sitting on the most stunning purple floral table runner. During the evening guests left their mark on one of our tanden bicycle guest books, it's always so amazing to see where our designs end up!

More yummy ideas today, we just had to share this brilliant pinata cake idea from A Subtle Revelry. But how do you get the sweets in there without them melting? Just bake two cakes, scoop out the middle, fill with treats, and put one on top of the other. Easy! This would be a super idea for easter too. Fill it with chocolates and decorate the outside to look like a giant egg.
Check out A Subtle Revelry for their full, beautiful tutorial.
A few cookies and cakes inspired by Portugues and Spanish tiles today... yum!

So here it is, our new printable wedding stationery range, inspired by the beautiful hand painted tiles of Portugal. The pattern is also reminiscent or Spain, Mexico or Morocco which makes it perfect for just about any destination or exotic themed wedding.
Here we have used sapphire, wisteria, coral and saffron shades. We loved the way swapping the same colours around created a gorgeous new look so you can mix and match.
Pack your bags and prepare to be transported to a far off land with this very pretty wedding stationery available from the 'i do' it yourself shop.
