Hope you all had a fabulously romantic Valentines Day. Here's something sweet to brighten your day, some pretty burlap and lace inspired cakes...

This cute little burlap garland is great for Valentine’s Day and perfect for a wedding. Super easy to make with some paint, twine, glue and or course burlap. Head on over the Glorious Treats for their lovely step by step and have a go at making your own.

When we started to put together this months mood board of burlap and lace, we knew it was going to be a long month ahead. There are just so many possibilities with this wedding theme. Plenty of easy DIY ideas to try. So with a colour palette of rustic sand brown and white let's get started.

Homemade jam, made with love, makes the sweetest wedding favour.

Start early on collecting jars and ask family and friends to save theirs too. It might take a couple of days work in the kitchen to produce the amount of jam required, but of course this can be done well in advance of the wedding.

To keep that country feel flowing through to your table decorations, ditch the elaborate centerpieces for something cute and quirky like pretty floral teacups.

Super simple to make, just start collecting your cups and saucers early on from markets and antique stores. Cut a piece of oasis (floral foam) to fit inside the cup and add your flowers. Of course you can use teapots too!
