Spring is here so lets brighten things up with splashes of bold colour and pretty origami designs. There are a few variations on why folding a thousand paper cranes brings luck, happiness and long lift - in ancient Japan anyone who folded a thousand origami cranes would be granted a wish by a crane. Today they have become a popular symbol at weddings signifying a thousand years of happiness and prosperity for the couple.

In our pick of 2012s hottest shades of vermilion, grey and buttercup yellow.
We have the most fabulously fashionable wedding to share today! Pantone recently announced their colour of the year for 2012 is Tangerine Tango, and this gorgeous bride and groom either had the inside word or just great taste choosing a stunning colour palette of grey and vibrant vermilion for their big day.
The girls looked gorgeous in different shades of grey with bright bouquets of gerberas, while the guys were super smart in charcoal grey suits, striped ties and gerbera boutonnieres.
The wedding cake was an amazing cupcake tower with simple white icing and little dark grey ribbons adding the perfect finishing touch. Charcoal grey table runners looked fabulous against the clean white table cloths.
Julie and Spencer selected a lovely 'i do' it yourself fingerprint tree as their guest book - the addition of the juicy greens works beautifully with the orange and grey. Congratulations guys, a truly inspiring wedding! And a big thanks to Kaoverii Marapon Photography for letting us share her stunning photographs.
This one's sure to be a hit in 2012 with Pantone picking Tangerine as their colour of the year.

I'm so excited to share todays beautiful real wedding from Angelica Peady Photography. I have a bit of a soft spot for Watsons Bay, being my wedding location last year, and this couple transformed it into the perfect Mexican fiesta! Full of colour and fun - and of course fabulous details. Pretty papel picado fluttering in the breeze decorated the venue along with cactii and vibrant flowers. Each bridesmaid wore a different dress in a bold, bright colour. There was even a piñata! Enjoy the eye candy.
Summer might be over here in Aussie but thats no reason not to brighten things up a bit this month while we take a look at a tropical wedding. Full of fun and colour, great ideas for a destination wedding or just a beach near home.
